Islamists kill many Christians in the Philippines on the island of Jolo

Islamists recently killed two Buddhist monks in a holy place in Southern Thailand and now another brutal Islamist attack is responsible for killing at least 20 people in the Philippines. Hence, just like the sanctity of a Buddhist holy place was deemed an opportunity to kill, the same applies to the brutal murder of many people attending a Roman Catholic cathedral on the Island of Jolo in the Philippines. Therefore, the Islamist jihad that is butchering in parts of Africa and the Middle East – and increasingly targeting several European nations – is also in full swing in this part of Asia.
One can only imagine the carnage and fear that spread among the survivors of the latest Islamist terrorist attack in the Philippines. After all, one-minute people were praying to God inside a holy Roman Catholic cathedral on the island of Jolo, then the next minute Islamist terrorists bring death and utter bewilderment to innocent people.
The BBC reports, “The local officials say the first blast happened at 08:45 local time inside the Cathedral of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, which has been hit by bombs in the past…The second explosion was shortly afterwards on the doorstep of the church.”
Of course, the appropriate information is that this holy place had been targeted in the past. In other words, nothing is sacred to Islamists – just like the recent brutal murder of two Buddhist monks in Southern Thailand. This reality shows the utter coldness and barbarity that exists inside the hearts of Islamist terrorists. Equally, these terrorists believe they will go to heaven for killing non-Muslims (infidels – the derogatory term in the Hadiths).
The spokesperson for President Rodrigo Duterte, Salvador Panelo, uttered, “The armed forces of the Philippines will rise to the challenge and crush these godless criminals.”
Reuters, in relation to the Abu Sayyaf Islamist terrorist group, reports, “Jolo is a stronghold of the group, which runs a lucrative piracy and kidnapping operation that successive governments have failed to break up. The group, which operates in the waters and islands of western Mindanao, has beheaded numerous foreign captives when ransom demands were not met.”
Overall, Islamists are butchering in various nations throughout this part of Asia. Hence, terrorism is a sad reality and the same applies to the holy places of non-Muslims being deemed to be an easy target. Of course, Shia Muslim holy places have equally suffered at the hands of Sunni Islamists. Therefore, the recent brutal murder of Buddhist monks in Southern Thailand and the horrendous terrorist attack against a Christian cathedral in the Philippines is a firm reminder of the darkness of Islamist terrorism that deems nothing to be sacred.
