The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS – Islamic State IS) and America appear to be having a phony war. After all, if ISIS is all over the show in areas of concern to major Western powers in Iraq, then it seems strange that covert operatives are mingling on the ground so freely in limited numbers. Therefore, it appears that covert operatives of the CIA, MI6, MIT, DGSE, BND, and others, are already embedded within this major jihadi network to varying degrees – irrespective if limited, gathering intelligence or abiding by certain geopolitical safety mechanisms. Similarly, since the friends of America are behind the funding and geopolitical destabilization policies that spur on ISIS, then it is not inconceivable that certain nations are dictating to ISIS to refrain from a major clash.

Images have clearly emerged – and many videos – whereby ISIS leaders have openly been in NATO Turkey and clearly this terrorist group is within easy reach of this nation. On top of this, this terrorist group and others like al-Nusra have clearly obtained a foothold in northern Syria, and adjacent areas, based on the shared border with Turkey. In other words, NATO Turkey is an open link in the terrorist and sectarian ratlines that have bedeviled Syria since outside nations began to destabilize this secular state.

Currently Christians, Yazidis, Shabaks, the Shia, and others, reside in major fear in Iraq because of ISIS. Likewise, in Syria religious minorities including the Alawites, Christians, the Druze and Shia Muslims all fear sectarian terrorists and brutal Takfiris that slaughter for fun. However, while brutal sectarian and Takfiri forces are being welcomed in Syria by the enemies of this nation in order to topple the government of President Bashar al-Assad; it is clear that the same brutal methodology isn’t welcomed in Iraq to such a degree – apart from enabling a change of the political guard. Therefore, America is in a major quandary because the friends of this nation in Kuwait, Qatar, Turkey and Saudi Arabia are behind the ISIS reality. At the same time, the brutal deeds of government circles in Ankara, London, Paris and Washington have all emboldened ISIS in Syria, which in turn created the further destabilization of Iraq.

The highly Respected Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky) says: “I think one of the reasons why ISIS has been emboldened is because we have been arming their allies. We have been allied with ISIS in Syria.”

Rand Paul further states: “We have been fighting alongside al Qaeda, fighting alongside ISIS…ISIS is now emboldened and in two countries. But here’s the anomaly. We’re with ISIS in Syria. We’re on the same side of the war. So, those who want to get involved to stop ISIS in Iraq are allied with ISIS in Syria. That is real contradiction to this whole policy.”

Ironically, since America began to bomb ISIS to a very limited degree at the start, then the all-conquering Takfiri movement appeared to be on the back-foot. Yet, once the “phony war” began between ISIS and America then clearly ISIS is taking more ground in Iraq and Syria – while also spreading its power base in Libya. In other words, it seems that the strings that are pulling ISIS appear to be holding sway within the upper apparatus of this Takfiri sectarian force. Of course, this may change, after all America and the United Kingdom, via the CIA and MI6, were in bed together with al-Qaeda and other militant groups in the 1980s and early 1990s in Afghanistan. Yet in time the waves would part to a certain degree. However, certain ties remained within circles because jihadists would work side by side with NATO powers in Libya in order to overthrow the government of Gaddafi. Likewise, the terrorist al-Qaeda rent-a-mob that was utilized in Bosnia to kill and butcher Orthodox Christian Serbs, just like they were utilized in Libya, also became useful allies against Syria.

Therefore, while brutal Takfiris have been butchering Shia Muslims in various nations, it appears that the rapid cleansing of Yazidis and Christians in Iraq took the friends of America by shock. This reality appears to be visible at the moment because despite the mountainous terrain it seems that America and the United Kingdom are not too concerned about their operatives being caught. Also, neither nation appears to be worrying about their military planes being taken out given the terrain and ongoing military arms of ISIS. In other words, something seems afoot because “the game of shadows” isn’t making sense because the barbaric deeds of ISIS towards the Shia and other religious groups is now being met by “quietism” and “pragmatism.”

It could well be that certain members that have an ideological Takfiri worldview may begin to question the current leadership of ISIS based on this reality. Likewise, it may well be that covert operatives are so embedded within ISIS that the melting away is based on this reality. After all, it is known that sinister forces within operative circles in America assisted the sectarian nightmare when terrorism took hold after the overthrow of Saddam Hussein.

Josh Rogin at the Daily Beast states: “The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS or ISIL), now threatening Baghdad, was funded for years by wealthy donors in Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, three US allies that have dual agendas in the war on terror.”

Rand Paul meanwhile states that if President Bashar al-Assad and the current Syrian government were defeated, then this nation would become a “jihadist wonderland in Syria.”

Of course, Rand Paul doesn’t support any side in the conflict in Syria. However, Rand Paul fully understands that events in Iraq have been a complete disaster for the Christians of this nation – and of course, the same applies for all Iraqis that have suffered since the ousting of Saddam Hussein. In other words, some powerful politicians in America are disillusioned by the same “good and evil argument” especially when the so-called “good” – and “good options” – usually turns out to be a complete nightmare. After all, look at the ongoing reality of Afghanistan, Iraq, Kosovo, Libya and Syria.

In the meantime, ISIS is continuing to expand in Iraq and Syria based on the covert nature of nations that seek to topple the secular government of Syria. This reality says much about the true nature of the current US and ISIS phony war. After all, ISIS terrorist convoys are freely traveling openly without any major bombing attacks that alter events on the ground. Therefore, the “game of shadows” is ongoing because ISIS power bases are rarely attacked to any degree by America and other allied nations.
