Syria Denies the Gulf and Western Version of Khan Sheikhoun: Only Enemies of Syria gain

Immediately after events occurred in Khan Sheikhoun the usual anti-Syrian governments and the compliant media jumped to pre-ordained conclusions. Not once, despite a major international conference about to take place, did the usual nations of the Gulf and NATO ask any serious questions. Similarly, the usual media outlets that parrot a monotonous version of events to important global matters, barely questioned who gained from Khan Sheikhoun (Khan Sheykhun) – after all, this may lead to a different version of events. Therefore, the same hysteria in bolstering sectarian forces came to the fore again.

The Syrian government of President Bashar al-Assad is trying to reach out internationally because the conflict needs resolving. At the same time, with the Syrian armed forces and allies being in a better position now, than since the conflict erupted based on outside meddling, then once more it isn’t in the interest of the Syrian government to give a propaganda scoop. Also, the Russian Federation knows the current scapegoating of this nation for the internal political ills of America and France – and others – that is never ending. Hence, political elites in Moscow and Damascus have nothing to gain by using alleged chemical weapons at any juncture during the conflict.

Tass News reports, “Russia’s Defense Ministry later said that on April 4 the Syrian air force had delivered an airstrike on the eastern outskirts of Khan Shaykhun to destroy militant facilities used to produce chemical munitions. These munitions were sent to Iraq and were previously used in Aleppo.”

Immediately international politicians and media outlets that have sided with sectarian and terrorist forces from the start of the crisis in Syria, issued the usual mantra. However, according to military sources from Syria and the Russian Federation, then it is evident that the air force of Syria targeted sectarian terrorist facilities that were known to produce munitions.

Maria Zakharova, a spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, said, “the White Helmets and the Syrian Observatory cannot be considered to be reliable sources as they have been repeatedly caught spreading fake reports on the situation.”

Unbelievably, since the conflict erupted based on the meddling of America, France, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the United Kingdom, the Gulf and Western media appears to be having a love-in with the foreign objectives of these nations. In other words, the real threat of genocide towards the Alawites was ignored and so was the open mantra of “Alawites to the grave, Christians to Beirut.” Therefore, the usual Gulf and NATO powers that have destabilised parts of the Balkans, the Middle East, North Africa, and Afghanistan, were once more believed to have noble goals.

It would appear that recent events in Libya mean nothing and the same applies to the open lies of “weapons of mass destruction” that led to the destabilisation of Iraq. Similarly, the utter destruction of Yemen by the Saudi Arabia led coalition – armed to the teeth by America, France, and the United Kingdom – is being rubber-stamped in order to appease the grand designs of Saudi Arabia. Indeed, while the destruction of Yemen is happening the nations of America, France, and the United Kingdom all seek more Gulf petrodollars – therefore, so much for humanitarian concerns.

The devastating loss of innocent life in Khan Sheikhoun is truly tragic but sadly it is just a propaganda scoop for the enemies of Syria. Instead, real questions should be asked. For example, why did sectarian terrorists allow children to be in such close proximity to a munitions area known for making weapons?

Syrian Arab News Agency reports, Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad stressed that a few weeks ago, the Syrian government provided the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) with information on the transporting of toxic substances into Syria by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization, affirming that Syria stands against using chemical weapons by anyone, anywhere, and under any circumstances.”

Modern Tokyo Times warned that certain undercurrents in America desired for the new President Donald Trump administration to follow the same anti-Russian Federation and anti-Syrian mantra. Sadly, it seems that naivety – and political pressure at home – is playing into the hands of forces that seek to disengage America and the Russian Federation. Therefore, the propaganda scoop by sources that work openly in al-Qaeda areas (the White Helmets) – and that becomes rubber-stamped by the mass media in the Gulf and West – seems to be influencing the new Trump administration and this bodes ill for Syria.
