Hezbollah Leader Nasrallah Warned Christians about the Dangers of Gulf and Western Meddling

It is ironic that Hezbollah (Hizbullah) in Lebanon under His Eminence, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, is more concerned about the plight of Christians and other religious minorities, rather than the so-called democratic West. Indeed, it is abundantly clear that America, France and the United Kingdom are fully behind the emptying of Christians throughout the Middle East based on their close ties with feudal Gulf monarchies. Therefore, while Saudi Arabia bans the Christian faith it is clear that Western meddling in Iraq, Libya and Syria is leading to a catastrophe for the Christian populations of these nations. Indeed, it is even hard to say nations about Iraq and Libya because Gulf and Western destabilization polices have led to failed states. Syria, thankfully, is fighting tenaciously in order to preserve the religious mosaic and to prevent another failed state.

Nasrallah, a deeply religious man and a person of great knowledge, fully understands the brutal deeds of Takfiris. Similarly, the leader of Hezbollah understands fully the forces behind their power base in order to do the bidding of Gulf and Western powers. In this sense, Gulf and Western nations are playing the same dangerous game unleashed against Afghanistan in the 1980s and early 1990s. However, this time it is clear that the leverages are not so binding even in the short-term. Despite this reality, NATO powers and Gulf feudal monarchies are boosting the forces of sectarianism and Takfiri fanaticism in order to forge their long-term agenda. Yet against all the odds the nation state of Syria refuses to give in to such destabilization policies.

Christian leaders internationally appear to have given up the ghost when it comes to supporting their co-religionists in the Middle East. Of course, some voices have been raised but overall it appears that democratic leaders in America, France and the United Kingdom can implement anti-Christian policies whenever they desire. Therefore, the emptying of Christians in Northern Cyprus, Kosovo, Iraq, Libya and Syria is all based on the whims and geopolitical games being played by major Western and Gulf powers alongside Turkey.

Nasrallah said: “I want to ask the Christians before the Muslims: You are seeing what is taking place in Syria. I am not causing sectarian evocations. Let no one say that Sayyed is doing so. Not at all! Where are your churches? Where are your patriarchs? Where are your nuns? Where are your crosses? Where are the statues of Mary (pbuh)? Where are your sanctities? Where are all of these? What has the world done for them? What did the world do for them previously in Iraq? Aren’t these groups causing all of this in all the regions?”

Of course, there are no crosses and Christian churches in Saudi Arabia and nor did Western powers care about the plight of Christian converts in their new Afghanistan. After all, despite all the funds spent on Afghanistan it is clear that apostates to Christianity face prison and death. More alarmingly, the direct policies of Western and Gulf nations in Iraq are creating one big graveyard for Christians in this nation. This reality is based on the original invasion of Iraq and then further installed once Gulf and Western powers supported the destabilization of Syria.

The leader of Hezbollah also makes it clear that Takfiris hate all other religious communities throughout the Levant. Nasrallah says: “Indeed, Takfiri terrorism is now present in the entire region in the form of armed groups in most- and perhaps in all- the states of the region. These movements or groups follow a Takfiri approach that eliminates, excludes, and deems everyone’s blood permissible, except for themselves. So, it has nothing to do with Sunnites, Muslims, or Christians. They deem the blood of the Christians to be permissible. Within the Islamic sphere, they definitely deem the blood of Shiites, Alawis, Druze, Ismaelis, and Zaidis permissible. Even within the Sunnite sphere, they deem the blood of all Sunnites except for themselves to be permissible. The simplest thing for them is to say: You are an unbeliever. You are an apostate.”

This reality means that various Takfiri forces are butchering Alawites and the Shia in Syria. At the same time, Christians are being expelled and persecuted in Iraq and Syria. Likewise, loyal Sunni Muslims in Iraq and Syria are also targeted and Sunni Muslim religious clerics have been killed. Therefore, all religious groups and traditional Sunni Muslim clerics in the Levant face a Takfiri threat.

Christians in Lebanon and Syria only need to look at what happened, and is continuing to happen, in Iraq since outside nations began to meddle into the internal affairs of this nation. Equally important, in order to destabilize Syria major Gulf and NATO powers switched on the terrorist, sectarian and Salafi switch once more. They did so despite knowing about the reality of modern day Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Syria after meddling into the internal affairs of these nations.

Nasrallah therefore is warning the Christians of the Levant and all minorities – alongside mainstream Sunni Islam, that: “If these (Takfiri groups) win in Syria, and God willing they will not, Syria will become worse than Afghanistan.”

The leader of Hezbollah continues: “If these armed groups win, will there be a future for the Future Movement in Lebanon? Will there be a chance for anyone other than (Takfiris) in the country?”

Therefore, it is time for regional Christians throughout the Levant and Iraq to take notice of Hezbollah. If not, then turning to Western powers that have all played their part in the demise of Christianity in various nations would appear to be absurd. This absurdity is based on ongoing Takfiri massacres in Iraq and Syria – and in other nations like Somalia, Pakistan and several other nations.

The simple reality is that Christians in the Levant, irrespective if they don’t support Hezbollah and the Syrian government, must realize that their future relies on Hezbollah and Syria under the prevailing conditions. If Christians doubt this, then just look at what is happening in Iraq and in areas under the control of forces being supported by Gulf and NATO powers in Syria. In other words, Christians have a future under President Bashar al-Assad just like they have a future based on the policies of Hezbollah in Lebanon and throughout the Levant. However, if the enemies of Hezbollah and Syria get their way then Christians should expect another Northern Cyprus, Kosovo, Iraq and Libya.
