Over 900,000 Covid-19 deaths and little sign of decreasing

The international coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis is continuing unabated in terms of deaths and infections per day. Hence, over 900,000 deaths from coronavirus internationally. Therefore, the international situation remains bleak.
Indeed, in parts of Europe, infections are increasing once more even if daily deaths remain low. The fear is that deaths will gradually increase unless measures are taken.
At the moment no set pattern fits because some optimism emerged in America and Iran. Yet this was shortlived because deaths and infections re-emerged.
Meanwhile, the nations of Brazil, India, and Mexico are at different stages. However, no let-up is happening in these nations and the same applies to others blighted by the coronavirus.
The current death tolls in the hardest-hit nations are America 195,196, Brazil 128, 653, India 75,091, Mexico 68,484, the United Kingdom 41,594, Italy 35,577, France 30,794, and Peru 30,236.
Deaths per million provide a better indicator of the severity of the crisis in these nations. Hence, the current stats are Peru 915, the United Kingdom 612, Brazil 604, America 589, Italy 589, Mexico 530, France 472, and India 54.
Daily infections in America, Brazil, and India remain extremely high. Similarly, in recent weeks infections are growing in Argentina (10,658 deaths). Likewise, in recent days, infections are growing once more in France, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
Overall, the hope is that new antivirals will emerge, vaccines, greater knowledge of the best steroid treatment, most beneficial antivirals on the market and combinations, and other important areas to reduce the death rate and potency of the coronavirus.
Hence, for the time being, the deaths will keep on flowing. Equally, other nations will come under greater strain. At the same time, infections will increase in nations that open up too quickly.
Options are also more limited in poorer nations based on economic factors.
