Pity Yemen: UK and US Support the Anti-Christian and Anti-Shia Nation of Saudi Arabia

It matters not if you vote for the two main political parties in America when it comes to Saudi Arabia. Of course, you have some honorable politicians including Senator Rand Paul and Senator Chris Murphy who cross party lines. However, overall the feudal anti-Shia and anti-Christian state of Saudi Arabia is backed to the hilt, even when supporting Sunni Islamist Takfiri terrorist groups – or butchering innocents in Yemen. Therefore, it was no surprise that the Senate voted against a proposal to prevent the Obama administration from selling more military arms to Saudi Arabia by a margin of 71-27.

In other words, the politically correct brigade like Obama to big business interest outweighs the anti-Shia and anti-Christian nation of Saudi Arabia. The same reality applies to the current government of the United Kingdom. Images showing barbaric beheadings in Saudi Arabia, to supporting the death of apostates to Christianity, brutal persecution against the Shia, and threatening women who seek to dress or think how they like, are all the norms in this Sunni Takfiri Sharia state. Yet despite this reality, none of the above matters to the political elites of both major parties in America and the current government of the United Kingdom, therefore, it is business like usual.

Not surprisingly, the Sunni-led Saudi Arabia coalition against Yemen is benefitting al-Qaeda and ISIS (Islamic State) who are both Sunni Islamist Takfiris. In other words, just like in Syria, the Obama administration is fighting on the wrong side of history. Indeed, the same Obama administration supported several European and Gulf states by destabilizing Libya collectively. Once more, the end result is the growth of al-Qaeda and ISIS in Libya resulting in Christians being beheaded on beaches, black Africans being lynched by Arab militias supported by NATO and Gulf states during the conflict, the infrastructure is in crisis, and mass immigration to Europe emanating from the failed state of Libya is another brutal reality.

The rise of Shia Houthis in Yemen unsettled Saudi Arabia because of the anti-Shia stance that this nation takes. Bahrain, for example, follows a similar pattern where Saudi Arabia supports to keep the Shia in check. Likewise, Shia suffering is enormous in Saudi Arabia and this notably applies to strongholds of this faith in specific areas of the country.

Saudi Arabia – and other Sunni-led nations in the coalition against Yemen – continues to benefit from the role of America and the United Kingdom. In other words, America nor the United Kingdom are concerned that not one single Christian church is allowed in Saudi Arabia, that prison awaits people for openly reading the New Testament in public, and that apostates to the Christian faith face death. However, at home, the political elites in America and the United Kingdom ply a multi-faith and ever-changing gender agenda based on numbing down traditional Christianity and cultural norms. The hypocrisy is mind boggling and the same applies to giving a free hand to Saudi Arabia to spread Sunni Takfiri versions of Islam far and wide.

Sadly, Yemen doesn’t count when it comes to the Sunni coalition led by Saudi Arabia, the Obama administration, the majority of Senators in America, and to the current government of the United Kingdom. Therefore, the Sunni coalition continues to bomb and kill openly because of the connivance of America and the United Kingdom.

The Guardian media group says, More than one-third of all Saudi-led air raids on Yemen have hit civilian sites, such as school buildings, hospitals, markets, mosques and economic infrastructure, according to the most comprehensive survey of the conflict.”

CNN reports, “For all that they would have us believe otherwise UK and US are not mere bystanders in this. Both countries have sold Saudi Arabia billions of dollars of weapons for use in Yemen since the war began. The US helps the Saudis plan air strikes and provides air traffic control and aerial refueling services to Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) jets taking part in the campaign. London and Washington have also provided the Kingdom with political cover both at home and at the UN.”

President Obama and his political correct agenda in America is a far cry from his policy towards the anti-Shia and anti-Christian nation of Saudi Arabia. Reuters says, “U.S. arms offers to Saudi Arabia since Obama took office in January 2009 have included everything from small arms and ammunition to tanks, attack helicopters, air-to-ground missiles, missile defense ships, and warships. Washington also provides maintenance and training to Saudi security forces.”

Saudi Arabia and the Sunni coalition is killing on a daily basis in Yemen. It shames both America and the United Kingdom – and other nations like France – to support such brutality against the people of Yemen. After all, democracy at home and supporting a multi-faith society rings hollow when America and the United Kingdom support the brutal reality of Saudi Arabia. Therefore, the Sunni Takfiri agenda and institutional Sunni discrimination against the Shia and Christians in countless nations – along with the brutal war in Yemen based on containing the Shia at any price – shames the political elites of major Western powers who put Gulf Sunni petrodollars before any notion of humanity.
