Saudi Arabia and its brutal interference into the internal affairs of Yemen, along with other Sunni dominated states, is boosting al-Qaeda. This reality applies to more areas coming under the control of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) and recently ISIS (Islamic State – IS) is also making inroads. Therefore, it is bewildering that America and France are supporting the policies of Saudi Arabia against the people of Yemen.

It is known that AQAP have taken an airport in the southern part of Yemen based on Shia Houthis being targeted in many parts of the country. If Saudi Arabia and allies of this nation are opposed to AQAP then clearly reducing the fighting power of the Shia Houthis is a strange policy indeed. After all, this fighting force in Yemen is the most potent foe of AQAP therefore by assisting Saudi Arabia both America and France are playing into the hands of al-Qaeda.

The BBC reports about this reality by highlighting the fall of an important airport to AQAP. This media source says: Militants from al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) have seized an airport in southern Yemen, officials say.”

Associated Press similarly states The latest advance marks a major gain for Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, as the Yemeni affiliate is known, which has been linked to several failed attacks on the U.S. and is widely seen as the global network’s most dangerous franchise. The group claimed responsibility for the attack on a French satirical magazine earlier this year.”

If America and France can’t understand the growing menace of AQAP is based on the intrigues of Saudi Arabia, then clearly something is amiss within the foreign ministries of both nations. After all, the destabilization of Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya resulted in the same reality. Similarly, the same is happening in Syria based on the collective intrigues of powerful NATO nations and feudal Gulf powers.

Unlike the above named nations the forces of al-Qaeda were either minimal to irrelevant. Yet in Yemen it is known that AQAP is already a potent Takfiri sectarian terrorist force. Therefore, this makes the decisions by America and France even more shocking. Not only this, the crisis in Yemen from a Shia point of view is very distant from the concerns of America and France. Also, clearly all major terrorist attacks in both America and France within Islamist circles are based on radical Takfiri Sunni Islamists. Given this reality, then why are America and France supporting Saudi Arabia both militarily and politically in its anti-Shia conflict in Yemen?

In a past article by Modern Tokyo Times it was stated: “Not surprisingly, the United States is coddling up to Saudi Arabia after this feudal state decided to bomb Yemen. At no point did the Obama administration take into consideration the systematic persecution of the Shia in Yemen. Instead, the indecisive Obama quickly supported Saudi Arabia to bomb Yemen. This reality means that America is partaking in an anti-Shia plot in order to keep Yemen weak.”

His Eminence, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah of Hezbollah, highlights the reality of Takfiri sectarian terrorist groups being linked to Gulf feudal intrigues throughout the Middle East. Nasrallah says: “You and your allies came with “ISIL” in order to overthrow the regime of Bashar al-Assad in Syria and Maliki in Iraq … What have you done to help the Iraqi people in face of “ISIL?” Iran was the first to stand and help Iraq.”

His eminence continued: “The real reason to this aggression is that Saudi Arabia has lost its hegemony and bets in Yemen and lost hope in its takfiri groups. It has sensed that Yemen is now for its people and this war aims to regain hegemony over Yemen.”

It is utter folly for America and France to be seen to be anti-Shia by supporting Saudi Arabia and its allies in a devastating air campaign that is killing many civilians. On top of this, the infrastructure is being targeted and the meddling of Saudi Arabia is enhancing the sectarian card. At the same time, al-Qaeda gains are rendering America’s drone attacks against al-Qaeda members in Yemen to appear bizarre. After all, what is more alarming to America, killing one individual in a drone attack – or AQAP taking over an airport based on the vacuum being opened by Saudi Arabia? Similarly, why is secular France supporting the most anti-secular nation state in the world?

Nasrallah says: “Those who agree on this war on Yemen are partners in it.”

Similarly, nations that side with Saudi Arabia are taking an anti-Shia stance that is unjust and clearly recent gains by AQAP is based on outside forces supporting the whims of feudal Saudi Arabia.
